BOOM Club Announces Durham Summer Synth Pop-up and Residency

DURHAM, NC — BOOM Club, an arts organization dedicated to providing resources for electronic musicians, has announced the launch of its pop-up Synthesizer Clubhouse at American Tobacco Campus's historic Rail Car. The location has been reimagined as a unique space for sound, creativity, and community. Open every weekend through August, the Clubhouse will provide a hands-on space for music lovers to explore high-quality electronic music instruments, participate in free workshops, and enjoy free live performances from local and visiting artists.

For anyone who's ever been curious about how electronic instruments like drum machines, synthesizers, and samplers work, the BOOM Club pop-up offers the unique opportunity to experiment with dozens of vintage and modern synths.

BOOM Club, short for Building Our Own Music, is a space to both create, learn and even record yourself. Throughout the residency, BOOM Club will also be offering workshops and performances from both local and nationally known artists.
